Biscayne Bay Fishing
Biscayne Bay is known for their Monster Bonefish.  Here in
South Florida our bonefish average 8 Pounds and have
been caught up to 15 pounds!  They are known for their
ghost like habits and long drag screaming runs.  To learn
more about Bonefish

Biscayne Bay is also a great place to find Permit, Tarpon
and the occasional Redfish and Snook.  But Captain Rich
generally likes to fish for Bonefish and Permit in the bay.

Fly Fishing in Biscayne Bay is good all year long.
However the months of March-June are by far the best
and busiest times of year for South Florida's Fishing
guides. But don't forget about the months of
Sept-December. These months in the bay can be
exceptionally great for schooled up bonefish
Everglades National Park Fishing
One of the greatest fishing destinations in the world is
Everglades National Park.  It offers species such as
Snook,
Redfish, Tarpon, Trout, Grouper, Goliath Grouper, Cobia,
Snapper, just to name a few!  This area is awesome all year
long and is one of the most unique and beautiful places to
experience.  It is so large that fishing guides can fish the
Everglades their whole lives and still never fish the entire
area.  Often we will have days on the water where we will
not see another boat all day long.  It is a fly anglers
playground filled with endless things to catch.  You could
spend half the morning chasing monster Tarpon in the open
gulf and spend the rest of the day in the deep backcountry
tossing flies to Snook and Redfish till your arm gets tired

Islamorada, Florida
Islamorada Fishing
Islamorada is known for being Florida's Sport Fishing
Capital.  Captain Rich Smith has grown up fishing for
bonefish and permit in the backcountry flats of the Florida
Keys.  Here you can expect to see crystal clear water while
poling across endless sandy flats. This area is good all year
long for bonefish and permit on fly but especially the
months of April-June.  Standard fly gear consists of 8 weight
rods for bonefish and 9 or 10 weights for permit.  But be
ready because these fish are not your average fighting fish.
Most Bonefish scream off about 75-100 yards of line
before they ever think about slowing down.
