Fishing in Miami

Miami is known for its warm weather and beaches, as well as its extravagant restaurants, bars, and clubs, which blends cultures, and makes for entertaining nights.  Another great thing Miami is known for is its world class inshore and offshore fishing. Miami fishing can be spectacular and filled with Miami fishing varity.

During the Winter and early Spring months, the offshore Sailfish bite in Miami and the Florida Keys is in full swing.  While the late Spring and Summer months are when the offshore Swordfish bite is at its best. There are major fishing tournaments held just about every month, some of which compete for over $100,000.  Captain Ray Rosher and Captain Randy Towe are veterans in the tournament scene and have captured many top finishes over the years.  If you wish to get involved in this tournament scene please contact us for more details.

Miami is also a very convenient fishing destination to access because of its two international airports, Miami International Airport and Ft. Lauderdale International Airport.  This allows business travelers the opportunity to fly into Miami or Ft. Lauderdale for business and then sneak out for a day of fishing, all within the same trip.  We also have special Inshore / Offshore fishing packages and special corporate pricing for businesses seeking to entertain its employees and clients.  We believe there is no better way to build better business relationships and impress new clients than by a day of fishing.

Tarpon fishing in Miami can be productive during the daylight hours, as well as at night.  Traditionally, Tarpon anglers have a better chance of catching a Tarpon while fishing around the bridges and channels using live bait.  Our offshore boats are probably the best way to target nighttime Tarpon because they are larger and more comfortable.  Captain's Ray Rosher and Randy Towe have extensive experience targeting nighttime Tarpon fishing in Miami and can surely give you a great chance at landing that giant Tarpon you have been dreaming about.  However, another way to target them would be by flats fishing for them during our Tarpon Season which takes place during the Spring and early Summer months along the edges of the flats as they migrate south for their yearly spawn in the Middle and Lower Keys.  This spawn normally takes place towards the end of May or beginning of June when the Palolo worm hatches out of the coral.  So if you would like to book a Flats Fishing Tarpon trip with any one of our experience inshore flats fishing guides during Tarpon Season, it is best to try to schedule your dates between March - July.
